Angel Reese reveals Travis Hunter's feelings after Heisman win.

After Travis Hunter won the Heisman Trophy on Saturday, WNBA star Angel Reese was among the athletes who honored him.

In New York City, the Colorado star narrowly defeated Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty to be named college football's best player. Hunter was honoured for his cornerback and wide receiver performances.

The NFL-bound junior went for 1,152 yards and 14 touchdowns and had four interceptions and a forced fumble as a defensive back.

This was the tightest Heisman vote since Mark Ingram's 2009 win over Toby Gerhart. Hunter received 552 first-place votes and 2,231 points, while Jeanty received 309 and 2,017.

Hunter was overcome with emotion as he accepted his award, paying tribute to Deion and Shedeur Sanders and Travis Sr. "I never thought I would be in this position," the 21-year-old said upon receiving the trophy. "It's crazy."

The Chicago Sky star admitted she cried tears of joy, along with the widely projected No. 1 overall pick in April's NFL Draft. "Why am I crying?" On X, Reese posted. So happy for Travis!"

Hunter received congratulations from across sports. Robert Griffin III declared on social media: "Every finalist deserved the Heisman Trophy.

Finally, voters saw Travis Hunter Jr. as a unicorn doing something new at WR and DB. Brother, welcome to Heisman. Looking forward to your Heisman House visit."
