Allu Arjun's arrest is a 'black mark' for film, says Ravi Kishan.

Hyderabad police arrested Allu Arjun on Friday morning in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede during Pushpa 2: The Rule's premiere. The December 4 incident killed 35-year-old M. Revathi and critically injured her son.

Allu Arjun, the fourth suspect, was taken from his home to Chikkadpally Police Station for questioning. Outraged fans and industry colleagues have supported the actor since his arrest. Rashmika Mandanna, Nani, Vivek Oberoi, Varun Dhawan, and Jagan Mohan Reddy have condemned the arrest as unjust.

Actor-politician Ravi Kishan, an Allu Arjun collaborator, called the day a “black mark” for the film industry and his global fanbase. ANI quoted him: "The acting community, film industry, and his fans worldwide mourn this day.

The National Award-winning actor and taxpayer Allu Arjun has brought huge business to cinema. He is also very civilized. Any personal vendetta against him? The Congress government, Chief Minister, and administration must explain how they treated this artist.

The reason? What personal revenge? Are you changing personally? Today, it seems like any artist in a Congress-governed state could be dragged and treated this way. Why is this happening? They must answer this huge question mark.

His Indian and international fans deserve answers. They must understand why a community member is suffering. This day is sad and hurts us all. Because I know a man like him is being pulled out of his house like a terrorist. How it would have affected his children and family. Today is sad."

The arrest was attended by Allu Arjun's father, filmmaker Allu Arvind, brother Allu Sirish, and other family members. The actor reportedly complained about police entering his private space before leaving.
